During my recent trip to Fort William, I had the opportunity to stay at Hawthorn Lodge. As someone who frequently travels, I found the location of this hotel to be extremely convenient. The fact that it is just 68 km away from the nearest airport made my transit much easier and hassle-free. I didn't have to worry about long commutes or traffic, allowing me to reach my accommodation quickly and begin my exploration of the area.
While my overall experience at Hawthorn Lodge was pleasant, there was one minor downside. The bedrooms, as well as the ensuite in the main bedroom, felt a little cramped.

The lodge is in a quiet secluded area with a beautiful view of Nevis. It had everything we needed, including sufficient utensils and crockery for cooking. the beds were comfortable and we had a parking spot right outside. the owner was really sweet and checked on us if we needed anything.
